Check My Macula toolkits

Macular Disease Foundation Australia (MDFA) has launched Check My Macula – an online initiative to encourage Australians over 50 to have an eye exam – and we have all the resources you need to help support this campaign.

Check My Macula is a short online quiz to raise awareness of the risk factors for macular disease. Our goal is to encourage people to visit their optometrist for a comprehensive eye examination, including a check of the macula.

MDFA and health care professionals share a common goal of preventing macular disease, and we want to work collaboratively with you on the Check My Macula initiative to raise awareness among those at risk.

We have prepared content for you to share and promote Check My Macula. We have a range of resources, including promotional posters to display in your practice and Amsler grids, and macular disease information booklets and pamphlets for your patients or clients.
