Client Services Evaluation (Annual)
Each year the Foundation evaluates its services by surveying a sample of its client base. In 2015 a questionnaire was sent to 2000 clients from the macular disease community including:
- Those with macular degeneration
- Family and friends of people with macular degeneration
- Those with a general interest in macular degeneration
- People working in a macular degeneration related field.
What do our clients think of our services?
Clients surveyed gave overwhelmingly positive ratings to the Foundation’s flagship services. The Helpline, newsletter, education sessions and website were described as “good” or “excellent” by 95% or more of all who had accessed these services.
The Foundation’s publications were also perceived to be of very high value with up to 95% of respondents rating them as “helpful” or “very helpful”.
How satisfied were our clients?
85% of clients surveyed said their expectations had all or mostly been met. 96% were very or mostly satisfied with Foundation services and almost 100% said the Foundation’s advocacy work was “good”, “very good” or “excellent”.
