The summer edition of the newsletter is all about research. It features the awarding of the Macular Disease Foundation Australia Research Grants, totaling $1.3 million to six outstanding Australian researchers, and highlights the awarding of these grants by the Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove at Admiralty House on World Sight Day. Also included is an acknowledgement of the decade long support of our patron Ita Buttrose, and the Foundation’s annual research update.
